Apple cake

Ingredients for 21cm diameter baking pan:

  • 90 g butter at room temperature
  • 160 g flour
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 130 g sugar
  • 1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
  • orange peel
  • 2 large apples
  • 1 pinch salt
  • vanilla
  • some sugar mixed with cinnamon for the final touch

The recipe is adapted upon the recipe of Ana Maria Ciolacu . For more details see the original recipe.
Beat butter with sugar and pinch of salt until it becomes frothy.

Then add 1 egg at a time and mix well after each egg.

Add orange peel

Mix flour with baking powder and incorporate a little bit of flour alternating with little bit of milk until no more flour and milk.

Place a 24cm round parchment paper in the shape and coat its walls with butter and flour. Pour the mixture into shape and preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Peel the apples, cut them into slices, place them over the composition and sprinkle sugar mixed with cinnamon

Put mixture in oven for 50min-1hour. Do the toothpick test to check if it is ready. Powder with sugar, let it cool and then serve. It is a great dessert for the child after lunch. Good appetite!

  2. Thank you for passing by, Anora! I had prepared some other great recipes for children but did not translate them into English because I thought I had no more visitors on the English version of my blog :)
If you have time to check the recipes from my blog and would like to have one of them translated, please let me know and I'd love to turn into English. Of course Google Translator may be used but the translation is not always 100% accurate.
